Dr. Paul Ezzo is an American Academy of Periodontics board certified periodontist. He graduated dental school in 1993 from Baylor University in Dallas.  He completed a three year Periodontics Residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1998.  He also received a PhD in Microbiology from UT San Antonio in 2000.  He is currently a part-time faculty member at Baylor Dental in the Periodontic Clinic.

What is a Periodontist?

Periodontists are dentists who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal (gum) disease. They have had extensive training with two additional years of study after dental school. As specialists they devote their time, energy and skill to helping patients care for their gums. A periodontist is one of the eight dental specialists recognized by the American Dental Association.
